Larry Smith

Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development

Larry Smith is responsible for all aspects of MOD Systems' sales, marketing and business development, including managing the Company's relationships with retailers, technology, content and distribution partners, and end consumers. He also leads MOD's corporate marketing and communications activities.

Larry brings more than 25 years experience in the entertainment, technology and retail industries in North America and Europe.  Most recently, he was a consultant to global organizations on digital video production and online advertising development and distribution.  

Larry served as the COO of North America for ARCHOS, Inc. as well as Worldwide Managing Director of Marketing and New Business Development for ARCHOS, SA, where he managed the sales and distribution, strategic direction, partnerships, customer support, marketing and business development for the portable digital video device company.  

Larry was Senior Vice President for On Command Corporation, responsible for the sales, distribution, customer operations, programming and a multi-tier call center operation. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Sales, Distribution and Programming and held key sales, distribution, and content acquisition positions in the start-up and/or re-launch of EchoStar's Dish Network, Request Television, CNBC and The Home Shopping Network.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
