David Sharp

David Sharp is responsible for all operational aspects of MOD Systems' content delivery platform and services, which includes content and digital media operations, technology operations, corporate and information security, customer deployments, professional services, customer service and support, and business intelligence.

David is a 19-year technology operations veteran who has provided leadership to more than 50 global corporations, critical-stage SMBs, and non-profit institutions in key consulting, management, and executive leadership roles.  Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at Mercent Corporation where he oversaw Product Development, Service Delivery, IT Operations, Finance, and Human Resources.

Previously, David served as Vice President of IT Solutions at Morse Best which provided technology consulting services for a number of large enterprise clients, including Microsoft, GiftCertificates.com, and the State of Washington. He was also Professional Services Director at Exodus Communications (now Savvis), building and managing a services practice that executed complex application development, systems integration, network, information security, disaster recovery, and IT operations projects.

David began his technology career as a Systems Analyst and Project Manager for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), leading large-scale IT projects for the New York State government.

David graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California, and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional ^® (PMP^®).
